What was the movie about?
Two guys, Chick and Wilbur, encounter Dracula at a party. Dracula wants Wilbur's brain to power up Frankenstein the monster. The Wolfman and Chick try to save Wilbur.

What I thought about the movie.
It was good and funny. I think kids under the age of 3 years old might be scared if they saw it because the werewolf may be scary to them. This story is a little complicated and the characters are difficult to keep up with, but I understood what was going on pretty easily.

What I learned about making films.
I learned that scary can be funny. The special effects used for this movie were very good for that era. My favorite part of the movie was when Dracula turns into a bat because they used cartooning for the special effect.

Why I think other kids should see this film.
Kids would think this movie is very funny and cool. It's very interesting that in the movie they put in two of the most famous Hollywood comedians playing with two of the most scariest Hollywood monster actors. The twist at the very end makes the movie even better.

Jackson-Thanks for yet another great review. Thank you for the disclaimer that kids 3 and under should not see this as it might scare them! Will you be reviewing movies you feel are appropriate for 3 year olds soon?
Keep up the good work!

I've already reviewed The General. This is only my 4th review, really. So, I have plenty more to come and will keep little kids in mind.

All-star cast. These days, very few adults know about Abbott and Costello, much less kids. To me, goofy slapstick comedy from that era is much more fun than many modern romantic comedies. I once had a teacher who had a question about Bud and Lou on a test. I, being a "big kid", was the only one who even knew who they were. You found a good one, here.
